Alphasoars Checkpoint: Investment II

Today’s post is going to be a short one. It is a concluding part of our investment post. 

According to Wikipedia, Investment is time, energy or matter spent in the hope of future benefits actualized within a specified date or time frame. We have already talked about investment in the last post where I mentioned some areas where we need to invest and how we can be able to actualize that. I talked about investing in one’s self, career and family. You can read it here.

Through the Wikipedia today, we have really understood investment in a general sense. I call it a PROCESS.

Alphasoars Checkpoint: Investments

All hail alphasoars!! How has the soaring gone?
We are on Checkpoint section today. Let's soar . . .
It is worthy of note and to understand that we humans are made up of quite different things in each one of us, I mean, ideas, tastes, choices and values. How we put our ideas together, discover our tastes, harness our choices on the right path and balance our values in our lives make up who we are. Today we are doing investments.

Our style of doing things at times determines whether we will carry out certain things that help us to grow in life. And so is the aspect of investing. Most persons do not value the talk of investment because they care much about 'living for now'.

It is said that the poor eat what they have and the middle class save what they got and the rich invest what they have. Having physical cash does not entail you are wealthy in a more comprehensive sense. It only means you are rich (money wise). To be wealthy has to do with the proper cordination of your whole person in the right dimensions, financially stable, emotionally balanced, mentally strong, intelligent and wise in family setting, Healthy, socially healthy as well with proper stand in other areas.

Everything Goes . . . Part I

All Hail Alphasoars!
 Happy new month everyone!! How has the soaring gone. It's been a while since our last post in here. Today I don't have a post title because I want to just go everywhere now and say a few things and after mine please do me small judgment and use the comment box and talk to me about a few things - from any angle.

Firstly, I had earlier published a post, Is Change Desirable?. When I ponder on some things that happen in our country today, i remember that post. Either whichway, I became a Prophet because in all there was a change of government in our country after that time which took place 29th May, 2015. But I never stop asking myself, is change desirable? I know if I get into this, someone might say i am been too quick to judge, so I will wait till i can JUDGE, lol.

And again my ever curiosity leaves me with no choice than to explore all media available at my disposal. So this time it was on a radio station in Port Harcourt. I was listening to this radio and it was time for students to ask questions and guess what a student ask. At first he was trying to get the presenter put him off air but the presenter refused with explanations and he said, 'please...., i want to apply for a university in the North, i hope there will be no harm if i do that, based on what i am hearing from Radio Biafra'. Oh well the presenter said no problems and I said too, No problem. But we all have our part to play, Love Your Neighbour!

In other news, America recently legalised gay marriage. It came as a shocker to me that at the end gay people have equal right with every other person. It is absurd biko. How can that be? It shouldn't be (Here I can pass my judgment with every authority in me). One of the black President went controversial with it on social media last week. But he said something i really love, 'Even Satan wasn't gay, he chose to approach Eve and not Adam'. People feel it is a great development. I beg to disagree with you that feel everybody should be given freedom to do whatever they wished with their bodies. It is against God, it is against humanity.
The Bible said something, you care to read Romans 1:20-32. And we are believing as world power controllers, they (America) might influence other countries even African countries to do same.

The above excerpts were culled from the Holy Bible. It’s all in the First Book and on the first chapter. Am gonna talk about something that we, Alphasoars must take cognizance of as we ride on the clouds to take our place in the skies. It’s about perseverance, purpose and pursuit.

Many of us would like to attain greater heights in the next 24 hours, if really it could be possible. Really, success is good having my good friends. How do you attain this success, how do you surpass those of your mates who claim to be on the same ride with you.

It is by persevering. Taking the creator of the heaven and earth for our key study now, you will understand that his creations even in his infiniteness and almightiness, he never created the world in one day. It took him six good days to do this. But then, he stayed on it not minding what it will take, knowing fully well what was in His mind – creating a heaven on earth.

The Secret of Effective Prayer

Yes! Another interesting point to note as an Alphasoar. We have previously discussed on important issues that really needed to be addressed as we soar high into the year and also remain on course – soaring to greater heights. We will discuss prayer in this post.Prayer is the act of communicating with God. A moment of talking with God on issues that bother us and on plans that we want to take. Many people see prayer as last option when all other routes taken fail. But no, prayer should be among the plans that we make every day.As we make plans to achieve one thing or the other, practical effort should be made to back it up with prayer.The Practice.The practice of praying had been in existence since time immemorial and has continued to be the only way we can talk effectively to God about our lives. In the Bible, God asked His people to always seek him in everything they do. God has never said he was weary of prayers in this twenty first century; he is still in charge of the happenings in the universe. Has it not amazed you that somebody here is giving birth to a child in Nigeria and at the same time somebody is getting his miracle of healing in Ghana. God is not tired of interruptions, so therefore interrupt him today.The Pattern.Many individuals have resulted to prayer on the last minute and never get a response. This is because the act of communicating with God should be done with a free mind and not with a sorrowful heart. You can look back in your life or ask someone when he got answers to his prayers and you will realize that it had always been when you are on a settled mind, when your spirit is free. On another note, people pray with fear and doubt if God will actually hear and answer their prayers. The result of this is that the individual resorts to praying based on ritual meaningless words.I want to remind you that if you have not put God in that resolutions you made this year, there is need to go back and have a restructure on it. Because my friends and fellow soars, without communicating with God on those issues you would have made those resolutions in vain. There is need for you to pray to God; do prayers when your spirit is free and expect answers.The Purpose.The purpose why you must pray is that you cannot determine your tomorrow despite your projections, therefore there is need to involve God. God is greater than you in all aspect, he is omnipotent and omniscience. The Power.I talked to you about your subconscious mind in this post and how you can work with it to the achievement of greater heights. To disclose the power of prayer, this is what Napoleon Hill wrote after many years of research on how to be successful in life, “The subconscious mind is the intermediary, which translates one’s prayers into terms which Infinite Intelligence can recognize, presents the message, and bring back the answer in the form of definite plan or ideas for procuring the objects of the prayer. Understand this principle, and you will know why mere words read from a prayer book cannot, and will never serve as an agency of communication between the mind of man and Infinite Intelligence.”The subconscious mind here is talking about the state of your mind and the Infinite Intelligence is talking about the one we pray to God. Please read the quote again.This is what my small mind can conceive now about prayer so do me some ‘judgment’ and add more on prayer using the comment box.Happy Soaring!!!

Alphasoars Checkpoint: Mind Stimuli

How has the soaring gone Alphasoars? Today, on our checkpoint section we are going to talk about something interesting, Always Motivating, Also Enlightening, All sides, All views and All yours.

Where do you get inspiration? What motivates you do what you do?  Where do you get that spur, that burning desire? Today, I shall with my small mind list five things that I have observed that give people the stimuli they need to succeed.

The five of things I think could spur people to greater heights hereinafter called mind stimuli include; Love, Music, Mutual Suffering and Friendship, Alcohol and Fear. The first three are positives while the last two are destructive but as I watched down the history of achievements looking at the lives of people that did exploits on their fields I realize that some did their best when under the influence of Alcohol or Fear.

However, before I go any further I want you to know that the negative effect of Alcohol and Fear in the life of an achiever is much in relative to its positive effect. Therefore I would still not recommend both to you as mind stimuli. I wrote a post on drugs and its effects on this section Here!!!

So the question is how it happens that the aforementioned can stimulate you. Many people if asked where they wanted to be, the reply would always be ‘the top’. They have that dream of getting to a great height, but looking at them critically, they have no motivation to succeed. Love motivates in a great way. When you look at the lives of people that succeed in life, you are going to by no doubt find out that they were motivated to success by the love showered on them by their parents, their friends or their mentors.

Exposing the mind’s most powerful stimuli and the acts of fear mentioning some areas where fear tries to set in into our good mind. Alphasoars Healthcheck: Cosmetics and Personal Care

This time on our healthcheck section, we shall look at cosmetics, what it entails and personal care as regards to our body. Over the years, much has been done in research as to produce what could be used to manage the earth that we put on – our body.

A great need for discernment comes in as these products come in their numbers almost on daily basis. What do you discern? You discern to determine which of these products suits your skin, which won’t be of adverse effects as you use it on your body. The body is a delicate piece of material that is more fragile that the Chinese glass cups we have in our houses.

How do we care for our body then, stands tall before our eyes as question that demands urgent attention and answer as the days in which we live runs as a speeding rocket sent to the moon.

A general name is given to these products, Cosmetics.

How has everyone been? I know that by the special grace of Allah, I deserve a resounding kick-slap, knock-slap and all worth not. But thanks be to the Almighty God who saved me from rigorous slaps and endless kicks from 'kind' Alphasoars.

I deserve to be flogged but I believe with your church mind you can forgive me.
A lot of things has happened during this short while and you know i never have had peace of mind all this while, knowing fully well that there are Honourables, kings and Queens, Gentlemen and Ladies who in no doubt have been checking around for what went wrong. It wasnt really my making, but I believe that i will serve you better as I battle my return leg over here. Still battling coz' i never can fully whole heartedly tell you guys that am back to stay. I enjoyed blogging to the fullest as my 'hubby'. Even at that, you shouldn't worry about anything because if the time of this blog is finally over, i will still do, 'the departure post'.

First of all, i want to heartily apologise to the greatest blogger friend Duru. My broGGER friend invited me to join in in the ongoing 15 For 15 Challenge. I am apologising for not accepting to join. So sad! But i hope to make it up, dunno how, but maybe next time i will honour ya invite. This broGGER has had my itching back, i mean he carried his bed and put on my fallen back, gosh!! and you know, i wasnt hurt at all. Thanks bro.
